Join us on a Journey through Pan’s heritage, it’s Preset and its legacy. Brought to life through puppetry, humour and original song and developed with people of all ages who live and around the Pan Estate and Newport.
An invitation to venture through the Swaylin ( A word that describes the sea mist that falls on this island ,allowing worlds to meet and cunning and curious things to emerge as told to us by Paul Wilson @sacred Isle storyteller) to discover genuine stories, curious folk tales and insights into the layers that are the area what it is today and what it could be tomorrow.
This project in the culmination of work commissioned and instigated by Lift the Lid on Island Culture. The main partners who explored and developed the material used in the show were Mountbatten Hospice, Barton Primary School and The WOW centre / CRC women’s group.
