Slovacko Museum Gallery - Uherské Hradiště

Built in 1721 - 1723, as an imperial armoury. The original design by Leandro Anquisola was implemented partly, near the castle wall, and construction then continued with a wing, designed by Jacob Albi, added at a right angle, used for residential and administrative purposes. After the abolition of the stronghold it housed a storehouse, military hospital and post office, later an art gallery from the 1960s. The revitalisation of the site was completed in 1992, static faults had to be dealt with after 1997 floods.
