Este itinerario comienza en la cueva de El Pindal en Ribadedeva, localizada en un sector de la rasa costera oriental conocido como cabo San Emeterio. La cueva de El Pindal cuenta con una única entrada sobre el mar, dominando la línea de costa, y una galería longitudinal de unos 600 metros de la que sólo se visitan los primeros 300. Alberga representaciones prehistóricas zoomórficas, destacando un pez y un mamut.
Desde ahí se irá al Centro de Arte Rupestre Tito Bustillo, en Ribadesella, situado a 250 metros de la entrada actual a la cueva de Tito Bustillo. Es una de las cinco cuevas decoradas del Paleolítico más importantes del mundo. Es, además, una de las más grandes y alberga gran número de figuras pintadas y grabadas en todo su recorrido. Este año se cumplen 50 años del descubrimiento de la cueva de Tito Bustillo, declarada Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO.
