For the entire Fascist period, "Il Regime Fascista" was the only newspaper published in Cremona. Although it aspired to have a breath and a national spread, it remained, in essence, the organ of Cremonese fascism and constituted, above all, the propaganda tool of its father-owner, Roberto Farinacci. Through his newspaper, the Ras Cremonese acted unscrupulously to consolidate his consent, to defend the positions of his political party, to defend himself against the many charges that were raised, but also to criticize the work of the same fascist government.
The exhibition (curators Stefano Campagnolo, Francesco Cignoni e Raffaella Barbierato) intends to propose a journey through the history of the newspaper by presenting some significant pages, but above all by reconstructing the unprecedented relationships between the director and his editorial staff.
