In the Antiquarium of Lucus Feroniae one of the largest votive deposits in ancient Italy is preserved. The study of this material is the heart of the Feronia Project: The goddess at Lucus Feroniae: the gifts, the devotees, the cult. It all started with the synergy between the Superintendency and the University of Tor Vergata. During the European Heritage Days 2019 we want to tell the goddess Feronia through the gifts made by her devotees.
The project will be presented on the afternoon of Saturday 21st, while on Sunday 22nd it will be possible to participate in open laboratories, organized by the students of the University of Tor Vergata, in which the visitor can learn about the material and the study and cataloging activities carried out. The tale of the goddess will continue even on the evening of Saturday 21 with a show of Chinese shadow theater, organized by the Musicultura association, open to children and adults.
