Boston, England was founded with Norman support after 1066. Boston's wealth grew as the  wool trade expanded with Europe which led to the important  building of Boston Parish Church ('The Stump' 1309 ), The Guildhall (1390) and friaries.  Trade rose and Boston was second to London in importance .  Boston Hanse Group Heritage work  informs about Boston's historic importance. Boston is a member of Die Hanse and this year the Group will visit the Hansetag in Rostock ,after Bergen and Kampen .

Boston, England was founded with Norman support after 1066. The  growing wool trade  with Europe led to Boston's wealth in turn leading to the significant building of Boston Parish Church ('The Stump' 1309 ), The Guildhall (1390) and four friaries including Dominican (Black Friars ), Franciscan, Carmelite and Augustinian.  Trade grew rapidly and Boston was second to London in importance around 1300 . Our Heritage work  informs people about Boston's historic importance in Europe. We are planning a community archaeology project on the site of the Hanseatic Warehouse (kontor) built about 1300.  Boston is a member of 'Die Hanse'  attending  the Hansetag in Bergen , Kampen and this year we visit Rostock.

The mines are national natural and cultural heritage. The work of many researchers, planners, pedagogues, artists, architects, museums, designers and tourist workers is connected with this kind of heritage; in Slovenia and also abroad. All these groups of experts and public together contribute to cognition and protection of exceptional underground architecture (which is the work of humans), minerals and living beings, which are our common natural wealth, our European heritage.
