5 September 2021 (1pm-4.30pm) Renfrewshire St. Mary’s was built in 1909 for
Episcopalians , who until then had worshipped in a hotel. It is known locally
as “the little white church in the wood”. It was built from start to finish in
four months. Twelve years ago thieves broke in and stole a big Victorian safe
weighing several hundredweight. A gang of men managed to drag it over the main
road. They blew the doors open with explosives. Inside was nothing except a few
papers. Facilities WC Refreshments Parking
