Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival Glasgow Gurdwara is situated in the middle of
the heart of Pollokshields. It is the first purposely built Gurdwara (Sikh
Temple) in Scotland. It was built in 2013. It is next to the Tramway on Albert
drive. It is a two story building complete with main prayer hall, Langar hall
(free kitchen), seven classrooms which get utilised for Sunday Panjabi School,
Religious, Music and English classes. Situated in multicultural Pollokshields,
the Gurdwara acts as a cultural, educational and religious hub for Sikhs and
the wider community. The Gurdwara serves the whole community by promoting free
education services, a free kitchen, faith and cultural services and a range of
advice & support services. Booking is not essential to visit the site, but is
required if you'd like to attend a guided tour. To book please call or email

Accessibility: No Wheelchair or mobility scooter allowed in Worship area.
Access will be available in Main Foyer and Langar hall. Children are very
welcome to come along with parents and carers.
