19 September 2021 (1400 - 1600) DigiResources Fife ~ West A fantastic textile
project is underway in Inverkeithing, with community participants creating a
stitched record of the medieval town’s extraordinary history. For Doors Open
day, there will be a small exhibition, visible from outside the Civic Centre,
of some of the panels created to date. International textile artist Nikkita
Morgan, leading the project, will give a live stitching demonstration 2.30 –
3.30 pm. For the first few lucky people, there will be take-away kits, to try
the embroidery techniques being demonstrated, at home. This exceptional
artistic legacy project is being created using some of the last linen ever
woven in Fife. Enjoy a virtual visit to Inverkeithing, the fantastic
photography and expert editing skills of the West Fife Digi-Crew. Watch out
Cannes, these talented young people with skills in digital story-telling, have
