has stood on this site for over 1000 years, the current building dates from
1620 with a number of alterations over the years. Major restoration in 2015-17
involved external stonework repairs and work on the stained glass and leaded
windows. There is a wealth of local history to be seen inside and out with
stories to bring it all to life- come and enjoy our shared heritage. For Doors
Open Days 2021 guides will be available who will have access to more detailed
information about specific aspects of the building. They will be happy to
answer questions and to show you round. Guide booklet available for purchase
for £3. Parking is opposite the church in the “stables” carpark- ie church
