Central Hall is an imposing Edwardian building in the Free Renaissance style
designed by architects Watson and Salmond and constructed in 1908. Around 100
Central Halls were built in major towns and cities across Britain between 1886
and 1945. Paisley Central Hall is the only one in Scotland still in use as a
Church. Visitors are welcome to tour the building at their own pace using the
self-guided tour. Taking in the various exhibitions and art activities on the
way round.You can expect to be in the building approximately an hour to take
in the full experience, but are welcome to stay for as long as you have time.
