Overview

4 September 2021 (9am - 4.30pm) Renfrewshire Dating from 1955 and 1962 the
former Glenburn Parish Church was constructed to minister to the growing
population of the new Glenburn Scheme. The congregation moved from the George
Street Church. The 25th Sept 2021 is the 60th Anniversary of the laying of the
foundation stone of the new Sanctuary. For Doors Open Day 2021, we will be
holding a special exhibition highlighting the history of the George Street
Church and Glenburn Parish as we move forward as the Outreach Centre of
Paisley St George's. Exhibitions will include projected images and videos from
the history of the church, memorials to the World War 1 & World War 2 dead
and, proposed plans for the 1962 Sanctuary. We hope to also share news of the
Glenburn Heritage Group work and projects that will be coming up in the
Outreach Centre. Try our old fete games! Facilities Disabled Access WC
