1. Guided Village Tours
Discover the fascinating history of New Lanark through a guided walking tour. Explore the design and purpose of the Mill buildings and workers’ accommodation, learn about daily life in the village, and hear how restoration efforts have helped preserve this UNESCO World Heritage Site for future generations.

Tours run at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm on Saturday & Sunday.

2. Multisensory Storytime
Step into the story of New Lanark through a playful, interactive session designed for children aged 1–6. With a bespoke tale inspired by the mill’s history and sensory play around the site, this is a fun and educational way for little ones to connect with the past.

Sessions at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm on Saturday & Sunday.

45 minutes | Ages 1–6 (parents/carers must stay with their child) | New Lanark Visitor Centre.
A free shuttle bus can transport visitors from the Visitor Carpark down into the village. Disabled parking bays are located in front of the Visitor Centre.
The events will take place outdoors, and the ground is cobbled and uneven in some areas. Routes can be adapted to accommodate step-free access throughout the site.
