Hello, my name is Nikola Mihajlovski, I am 12 years old and I live in Serbia, Nis. My city is very old and has many historical buildings that prove that. But, at last, I chose something different for this project. I think that the most important part of a heritage is immaterial, which is passed down from generation to generation and has a big effect on the lives of the people, not just in the country that is passing down the beliefs or tradition, but also to the rest of the world. Exploring the Serbian tradition, I came to a (for me) great discovery. My country is the birth place of the word "Vampir"(Vampire, Vampiren, etc), and not just that! The first written proof of a vampire existing. And thanks to that all branches of art, find inspiration in this immaterial heritage of ours to this day! And so, it becomes a part of the collective heritage of Europe, and the world. And here is my story about vampires:
