Dubrovnik Hosts “The Best in Heritage” Conference this Weekend
The world’s most innovative museum, heritage and conservation projects will be in spotlight this weekend at the 16th edition of The Best in Heritage conference.
This global annual event dedicated to heritage success stories will take place between 28th and 30th September in Dubrovnik, where 42 laureates and hundreds of guests will gather to discuss the projects that made a difference for the world’s heritage. Coming from diverse cultures and social settings, the participants will offer insightful commentary on innovative practices, successful management approaches and current trends in the field of heritage.
Through a rich programme of keynote speeches and presentations, they will explore new perspectives and approaches to heritage, while learning how to implement the best practices in their own projects of focus. The conference will be a unique opportunity for heritage communities and professionals in conservation, architecture, culture and history, to meet and find guidance or inspiration for new successes.
In addition to the core programme, Projects IMAGINES will unveil the best projects that rely on new technologies to drive innovation and explore new horizons in the field of heritage. It will feature mobile apps, virtual games and augmented reality projects that help make culture closer to the modern audience and preserve disappearing heritage.
