Youth Voices for Heritage: Call for Applications
The project will establish a Youth Advisory Group connected to the European Heritage Days programme, offering young heritage professionals a structured opportunity to contribute to strategic discussions at European level. Participants will take part in shaping future EHD annual themes and in co-creating key outputs, including a Youth Vision for Heritage and a Youth Engagement Toolkit.
Open to young professionals actively involved in organising European Heritage Days events, the initiative reflects the Council of Europe’s commitment to democracy, participation, and inclusion, in line with the principles of the New Democratic Pact for Europe. By bringing together diverse youth perspectives from across Europe, Youth Voices for Heritage highlights heritage as a shared European resource and a space for dialogue across generations and borders.

The programme will run from 2026 to 2028, combining online activities with in-person meetings at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. All official programme-related costs will be covered by the organisers.
Application deadline: 23 March 2026
Young heritage professionals interested in applying are encouraged to consult the full Call for Applications, which includes detailed eligibility criteria, the selection process, and practical information before submitting your application through the online form.
