Overview
Margrét and Amanda are sixth graders who made a video about an "elf stone" near their hometown in North Iceland which is traditionally said to be the dwelling of a fairy (or an elf) and discuss folklore and stories connected to this specific site. The stone was accidentally covered during road making a few years ago, but realizing their mistake, The Icelandic Road and Costal Administration had it excavated and cleaned. Elves and fairies are part of a pan-European folklore, perhaps with roots stretching back before Christianization and is still widely recognized, especially in Iceland and Ireland.
