Мельница в селе Донском. История села Донского: это первое поселение на территории нашего Труновского района Ставропольского края. Девятая крепость Азово-Моздокской оборонительной линии — Донская. Она была основана в 1777 году казаками Хопёрского полка. Одной из основных задач была охрана почтового тракта «Санкт-Петербург — Тифлис» от нападений недружелюбных горцев. Это была единственная дорога, по которой можно было приехать на Кавказ. То есть это была дорога, которая связывала Европу и Кавказ, и все проезжающие, так или иначе, бывали в нашем селе. Среди них были Пушкин, Лермонтов, Суворов, Толстой и многие другие. В центре нашего села Донского сохранилась вальцовая мельница с дизельным двигателем, построенная в 1864 году стараниями крестьянина села Птичьего Архипа Степановича Зюзюкина. Её чугунные вальцовые станки изготовлены были известной уже в то время швейцарской компанией «Бюлер» из Уцвиля. Это здание находится рядом с нашей художественной школой, это самый любимый объект на пленэре. Мельница хороша со всех сторон, в любое время суток и в любое время года. Among them were Pushkin, Lermontov, Suvorov, Tolstoy and many others. In the centre of our village Donskoy survived roller mill with diesel engine, built in 1864 through the efforts of the peasant village Bird Arkhip S. Susukino. Its cast-iron roller machines manufactured were known already at that time the Swiss company "Buhler" from Acvila. This building is located next to our art school, it is the most favorite object in the open air. The mill is good from all sides, at any time of the day and at any time of the year. In 2015, a memorial plaque was installed on the building.
