In the forest "Yvelines" at the gates of the Eure & Loir, founded in 1160, the Priory of Moulineaux is one of the last three witnesses of the monasteries of the importnat Order of Grandmont. In a protected and totally preserved natural environment, it was in turn a monastery, transformed into a Renaissance castle protected by a protected enclosure of moats and towers, high place of hunting then manufacture in the nineteenth century. Rare curiosity in the enclosure was built a Renaissance nymphea whose remains have reached us.
