Join historian Stephen Callaghan for an illustrated talk on St Mary’s Church of Ireland memorial recording project. The project aims to record the details of each of the memorials, along with detailed photos.

Stephen will explore the recording project, examples of unusual memorials, what the various gravestone iconography means, and interesting individuals identified during the research.

And as St. Mary's is a medieval site, we hope to reveal some surprises on the evening as a result of a geographical survey of where the old church may have been located!
