Participants will gain an insight into the preparations to be made before starting family history research online. A number of key genealogy and family history websites will be identified and demonstrated and their pros and cons, will be outlined. The workshop will also provide an insight on where participants will find other relevant information, pertaining to the era of their ancestors, including old historical photographs, documents and family charts for illustration.
