A Guided Visit of the Community Excavation in St. Anne's Park
Join us for an exciting guided visit of the community excavation at St. Anne's Park, Clontarf. Explore the rich history of the area and learn about the excavation process firsthand with Archaeologist James Kyle who will discuss the findings from the community excavations which uncovered the remains of the now demolished 19th century mansion formerly owned by the Guiness family. This in-person event is not to be missed and is a unique opportunity to learn about the uncoverd past of this beautiful park!
Excavation director, James Kyle, a current board member of the Institute of archaeologists of Ireland, will deliver a guided tour which will detail the work completed to date on the St. Anne's Park Community Archaeology Project which is coordinated on behalf of Dublin City Council by Archaeology and Built Heritage Ltd.
