Vezilačka udruga Cavtat was founded by Jelka Miš (Dubrovnik, 2 October 1875 – Dubrovnik, 8 February 1956) to gather embroiderers with the purpose of preserving this folk tradition and developing the idea of launching women crafts. To enable the work of the association, Jelka Miš collected a large number of samples from all over the Balkans that are a part of the collection of the Konavle County Museum.
