A Photographic Exploration with the NLI & EPA
Join us for a special Heritage Week talk with Paula T. Nolan, the inaugural NLI/EPA Photographer-in-Residence 2024. Paula T. Nolan is the inaugural National Library of Ireland / Environmental Protection Agency Photographer-in-Residence 2024. As part of her year-long project, ‘ReViewing Ireland’, she is travelling to each of the 26 counties by public transport and a trusty e-bike. ‘ReViewing Ireland’ will contribute to the national conversation about the environment through an engaging and timely photographic odyssey. Nolan will have access to the National Library of Ireland’s historical collection of photographs, as well as access to various sites of the Environmental Protection Agency. For Heritage Week, Nolan will offer a sneak peek into the exciting ongoing project. She will present a selection of images from her journey into past and present Ireland, and the stories that go with them, at the Joly Lecture Theatre, NLI on 22nd August at 1pm. Early registration recommended to guarantee your spot. Paula T Nolan www.paulatnolanphotograph.com
