Discover the exteriors of a singular house built in the 1930s in the heart of an Alsatian village renowned for its half-timbered houses. With its rounded slate roof, this family home rehabilitated at the turn of the century, stands out for its rare and elegant architecture. The attic, which is the fifth facade of the building, now houses Elisabeth Giess’s painting workshop. You will be able to discover the artist’s paintings as you wander through the garden or in the outbuildings of the house, which will also host an exhibition-sale of a selection of works by the artist installed on site with her husband, both since 2017 moreover the artisans of the new garden layout.
