Overview

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2025, the National School of Architecture of Paris-Val de Seine and the Theatre 13 join forces to offer a privileged visit of the theater led by a student in architecture. A cultural hotspot, the Théâtre 13 inaugurated a second room in 2011 on its library site at the heart of the ZAC Paris Rive Gauche, a former industrial wasteland erected on the tracks of the SNCF. As part of a rapidly changing urban fabric, between modernity and industrial memory, the architects Bocabeille and Ignacio Prego designed a building, a true link between the upper part (rue des Grands-Moulins) and the lower part (rue du Chevaleret) of the neighborhood. This visit will allow you to discover the different spaces of the theater, including the backstage, the performance hall, and the public spaces. The focus will be on the architectural choices, the materials used, and the integration of the building into its urban environment.
Two visits: Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 3 PM and at 4 PM.
