Overview
St Mary's Rectory, Bunclody, is one of the few such buildings in Ireland, built in 1805, which is still in continuous use as a rectory. In the 19th century, this glebe property operated also as a farm, complete with a walled garden, stable block and farmyard, which although quite derelict, can still be seen and appreciated as they might have been almost 220 years ago. Nowadays, each Friday morning from 10.30 - 12.30pm in July and August, this heritage property is open to the public for a free coffee morning at the Rectory Marquee (Y21 |CV 44) in the rectory grounds, to which all are welcome.
