Overview

Between heritage and artistic discovery Saturday, September 20

  • Discovery visits The day will start with a visit of the chapel Saint Egarec, organized by the association Environment and Heritage of Kerlouan. Located less than 700 meters away from the manor, you will discover that the stories of these two remarkable buildings are closely linked. Starting at noon, guides will take you to explore the manor of Kerivoas and its mysteries during tours of about 45 minutes. Departures will be offered every hour and a half. It will also be an opportunity to listen to the owner tell you his story, often the best way to fully understand it.
  • A baroque music concert The Collective Ma non troppo mixes different languages on stage: baroque music with the interpretation of works from the 17th and 18th centuries, body movement and graphic arts. Both familiar and undecipherable, the song of birds is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for baroque composers, from Ignaz Biber to Antonio Vivaldi, from William Williams to Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach. The Baroque repertoire, partly known, partly resulting from the research of the Collective, fits into a dramaturgy of sounds and gestures. The songs of birds, recorded during their work residences, punctuate the show like leitmotifs. The body movement of the four artists is made, in the extension of their musical gesture, itself a reflection of the choreographic movements of the baroque aesthetic.
  • Games and conviviality To fully enjoy the place, the curious are invited to picnic in front of the ancient fortifications. Everyone brings their meal to the right place! A food truck will also be on site. Small bonus: Breton games will be available for young and old alike to enjoy the tranquility of the place. As part of the Fabrique d'Imaginaire, the desire here was to make baroque music resonate in a Renaissance setting while echoing the green setting of its ruins, where birds found refuge. Sunday 21 September - Visits discovered The day will start with a visit to the Saint Egarec chapel, organized by the association of the Conteurs de la nuit.
