Los Caños son unos espacios urbanos de origen medieval cuya primera función fue servir de desagüe donde se arrojaban las aguas sucias de las viviendas de la colina. Su nombre proviene de la forma de cañada que tenía el terreno por el que discurrían las aguas. Actualmente son espacios de uso restringido y propiedad municipal ubicados en el interior de las manzanas del Casco Medieval, que sirven como espacio para la aireación e iluminación de las viviendas.

Esta visita se combina con un wiki-taller, esto es un proyecto colaborativo para recolectar imágenes sobre el patrimonio más representativo, pero a la vez más desconocido de nuestras ciudades. ¡¡ No dudes en sacar fotografías durante la visita y subirlas a tu perfil de Wikimedia!!

Esta actividad se enmarca en el proyecto ConMiWiki que pretende mejorar el patrimonio alavés en los proyectos Wikimedia, contando con la población de los concejos alaveses.

Erdi-Aroko hiri-espazioak dira etxarteak, eta haien lehen funtzioa muinoko etxebizitzetako ur zikinak botatzeko hustubidea izatea izan zen. Bere izena urak igarotzen ziren lurrak zuen abelbide formatik dator. Gaur egun, erabilera mugatuko eta udal-jabetzako espazioak dira, Erdi Aroko hiriguneko etxadien barruan kokatuta daudenak, eta etxebizitzak aireztatzeko eta argiztatzeko espazio gisa balio dute.

Bisita hau wiki-tailer batekin konbinatzen da, hau da, gure hirietako ondare esanguratsuenari, baina aldi berean ezezagunenari buruzko irudiak biltzeko elkarlaneko proiektu batekin. Ez izan zalantzarik bisitan argazkiak atera eta Wikimediako zure profilera igotzeko!!
