La cuadrilla de Montaña Alavesa sobresale por estar formada por pequeñas pedanías, muchas de ellas integradas en el parque Natural de Izki.  Pese a ser localidades pequeñas, todas ellas custodian un valioso patrimonio natural y patrimonial además de conservar costumbres y usos tradicionales desde tiempos inmemoriales. 

La actividad WikiTakes Montaña Alavesa será un recorrido fotográfico por varios concejos de la Montaña Alavesa, con el objetivo de crear memoria visual y recolectar imágenes sobre su patrimonio más representativo, para compartirlo de manera libre en Wikimedia Commons, repositorio de imágenes que sirve para ilustrar los artículos de Wikipedia y cuyas imágenes pueden ser reutilizadas por quien quiera. 

Por la tarde se realizará un taller para aprender a subir imágenes a Wikimedia Commons con el smartphone; y quien quiera, también podrá conocer cómo editar un artículo en Wikipedia y contribuir a mejorar artículos de los concejos visitados.

Equipación: 

1. Llevar un smartphone (teléfono móvil) para hacer fotografías. 
2. Opcional llevar un ordenador portátil. 

Traslados: 

1. No habrá autobús para trasladarse de un punto a otro. Cada persona lo realizará por sus propios medios. 

Recomendaciones:

1. Llevar ropa cómoda y calzado deportivo. 
2. La actividad no incluye comida. Corre a cuenta de cada persona.

The Montaña Alavesa region stands out for being made up of small districts, many of them integrated into the Izki Natural Park.  Despite being small towns, all of them guard a valuable natural and heritage heritage in addition to preserving traditional customs and uses from time immemorial. 

The WikiTakes Montaña Alavesa activity will be a photographic tour of several councils of the Montaña Alavesa, with the aim of creating visual memory and collecting images of its most representative heritage, to share it freely on Wikimedia Commons, a repository of images that serves to illustrate the Wikipedia articles and whose images can be reused by whoever wants. 

In the afternoon there will be a workshop to learn how to upload images to Wikimedia Commons with your smartphone; And whoever wants, can also learn how to edit an article on Wikipedia and contribute to improving articles from the visited councils.

1. Carry a smartphone (mobile phone) to take photographs. 
2. Optional to bring a laptop.
