Félix Muguruza nos hablará de las neveras existentes en las montañas de Orduña con cuyo hielo se fabricaba la limonada, actividad de la que apenas queda memoria en la ciudad. Conoceremos los sistemas de explotación de la nieve a través de los neveros y sus diferentes tipos. Hasta hace poco más de un siglo, la limonada era la bebida festiva más preciada, la que se esperaba durante todo el año. Era una mezcla de chacolí, agua, limón y azúcar y se llevaba al punto de granizado valiéndose para ello de la nieve recogida en las montañas durante el invierno. Durante la exhibición del procedimiento, Félix irá elaborando la limonada que posteriormente se degustará entre los asistentes.

Félix Muguruza will tell us about the existing iceboxes in the mountains of Orduña with whose ice lemonade was made, an activity of which there is hardly any memory left in the city. We will learn about the snow exploitation systems through the snow pits and their different types. Until a little more than a century ago, lemonade was the most prized festive drink, the one that was expected throughout the year. It was a mixture of chacolí, water, lemon and sugar and was brought to the point of slush using the snow collected in the mountains during the winter. During the exhibition of the procedure, Félix will be making the lemonade that will later be tasted among the attendees.
