Each bothy tells the story of the rural history of Angus in the idyllic setting of the House of Dun grounds. Discover the fascinating history of rural life in the region and explore the important role played by the horse and the plough, as well as learn how vital the agricultural industry is to Scotland. There are also several pieces related to weaving, which was once a hugely important cottage industry in the area. The courtyard does not need to be booked in advance. Please note that, due to private bookings, the house will not be accessible to visitors during Doors Open Days.
