Land of the Lords of Fuligny, this village once gathered around its Place Saint-Georges, the church Saint-Laurent, the castle, the school, the café, the wash-house. Since the castle has disappeared, only the Pillars of entrance, the Dovecote and some outbuildings remain. The café also closed its doors and the schoolchildren deserted their classroom. However the Town Hall continues to chant the hours of the day and the church rings again the evening Angelus. The wash-house transformed into a hall of festivities by the inhabitants has found a second life, the washerwomen have given way to other meetings.
