Art Deco (uncovered) in Evere
Overview
A play on words that says it all! On this stroll, starting at the town hall, you will see buildings that display the main characteristics of Art Deco: bricks (sometimes protruding), roughcast, rounded balconies, etc. On the other side of the boulevard, Jean-Jacques Eggericx, THE specialist, designed the small Tuinwijk garden city in the mid-1920s. Although these semi-detached houses are now overshadowed by tall buildings, the district retains a bucolic air. In collaboration with Bruxelles Bavard.
