Art, nature and history meet at Bel Ebat Manor
The Manor is composed of 2 Longères with slate cover dating from the 16th century, including a bread oven. The latter frame the main building of type gentilhommière dating from 1735\\. The main building was built by the Seneschal Kercado de Kerguisé Marshal of France, lord of Cohanno and lord of Crossac dependent on the chatellenerie of Pontchâteau in 1735\\. He was also a judge of the nobility of Brittany. He built the Manor and gave it the same name as his wife Marie Rogon, Dame de Bellebat (1695-1735). The property joined the Espivent de la Villesboisnet family before the revolution with Pierre-Sébastien Daniel Espivent de la Villesboisnet, around 1780\\. On Thursday, November 2, 1876, General Henry Espivent de la Villesboisnet, Senator of the Lower Loire arrived at the castle of Bélébat which he owns.
