Overview
The Hutteau Mill is located on a small island in an arm of the Essonne. This site was previously home to the royal blowing snow, and it was the site of experiments by Lavoisier and Berthollet. It served as a flour mill, chocolate factory or laundry factory. Today disused, it is surrounded by an area of meadow, sheltered by centenary trees and flowered all year round by its wild roses.
