The Jeanne d'Arc de Thouars Chapel, a centre of contemporary art of national interest, is today a reference point in the field of contemporary art in the great west. With the Château d'Oiron and the Syndicat mixte de la Vallée du Thouet, which has a programme of public commissions for contemporary works of art, the action of the Centre d'Art is carried out in partnership throughout the territory of the commune of the Pays Thouarsais and, more broadly, north of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Within the region, the art centre is an identified player in the Astre visual and visual arts network.
