Boobs on siirtynyt kokoontumisrajoitusten takia maaliskuulle 2022. Näyttely
avautuu uusimman suunnitelman mukaan 1.3.2022 Helsingin Torikortteleissa! Myös
kaikki yleisötapahtumat ja lehdistötilaisuus siirtyvät maaliskuulle.

IN ENGLISH:

The exhibition is based in Helsinki’s Torikorttelit as a part of
Tilanvaltaajat concept. It’s organized by Imetyksen tuki ry and Tunne rintasi
ry. Ping Helsinki is also in cooperation.

BOOBS is a photo exhibition of breasts and their changing meanings throughout
life. It’s also about the courage to accept your own breasts. At the center of
the exhibition are 12 women, whose touching life stories and the poetic art
photographs taken by artist/designer Paola Suhonen form a delicate whole.

The exhibition wants to encourage women to know their own breasts and
strenghten their right to self-determination in their own bodies. The aim is
to promote breast health, early detection of breast cancer, breast self
examination and breastfeeding as part of life through art and stories.
