The architect Vladimir Tarnovski in his book titled “Tragom starih zagrebačkih mlinova” presents the mills as cultural heritage of the city of Zagreb that was an important factor of the Zagreb development throughout the history by combining human activity and nature. Besides introducing the reader with the Zagreb mills, the subject matter of the book also invites to thinking and discussion of preservation of nature and environment and the importance of sustainable development.
