Overview

The Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie shipyard, also known as the Usine de la Bégaudière, is one of the historic shipyards of the Beneteau Group. Benjamin Bénéteau, naval architect, created in 1884 the shipyard located in Croix-de-Vie. This project located in the ZI La Bégaudière was inaugurated in 1981\\. After 40 years of history, many expansions were undertaken in 2018 to increase the capacity of the site to produce units between 50 and 70 feet. We went from 18,450 m² to 30,000 m² of workshop. 3 new buildings were delivered: in June 2019 for Expeditions; in February 2020 for Molding; in June 2020 for Assembly. About a hundred models of boats are manufactured there since 1981, like the Trawler 41, the Jeanneau Yacht 60, the Oceanis Yacht 60, the Gran Turismo 41, the First Yacht 53, or the Oceanis 51.1.
