Connect with Glendalough's archaeological heritage in this Viking House Excavation Workshop . Join professionals from the School of Irish Archaeology in this simulated archaeological excavation suitable for children between 6-12 years old. This outdoor event is taking place in the lawn beside the OPW Glendalough Visitor Centre and promises to be both entertaining and educational, learning about the techniques involved in archaeology, unearthing treasures and finding out more about our ancient ancestors. Paid car parking is available but restricted, there is a free park and ride in Laragh.
