La Tannerie is a venue dedicated to current music: rock, song, electronic music, pop, traditional music, reggae, rap, jazz. etc. Located in Bourg-en-Bresse, it officially opened its doors on November 8, 2001\\. La Tannerie: first and only permanent stage dedicated to contemporary music in the Ain department. New building, built on the site of the former factories of the Tanneur where it takes its name. It is 816 m² of equipment, comprising: • a concert hall with a capacity of 550 seats (200 for seated concerts), • four rehearsal rooms equipped with sound equipment and instruments for amateur or professional musicians, • a meeting place open to all during the day, which also hosts exhibitions and a resource centre on contemporary music and the performing arts.
