Journey from the breath-taking summit of the Binn, through the town, down to the sands of the beach and foreshore, then dive beneath the waves. This is a must-see, highly illustrated photographic exhibition bursting with colour, insight and inspiration. The exhibition also includes a large display of local fossils gathered by a resident expert. There is an exhibition quiz for our younger visitors. BURNTISLAND BURGH CHAMBERS Burntisland’s Burgh Chambers is a well-recognised landmark in the Town Centre, dates from 1843 and a strong example of the proud architectural style typical of local council buildings from a time when each small town had its own elected Council. In addition to the Chambers and the atmospheric Burgh Court Room, there is a large and impressive collection of paintings, many telling a unique story of Burntisland’s rich past. N.B. – Whilst the display at Burntisland Heritage is wheelchair accessible unfortunately the upper story containing the Burgh Chambers is only accessible by stairs. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the Burgh Chambers on the upper floor. Seating is available on both levels. On Street Parking.
