The Burrell is hosting two special events for Doors Open Days.
Event 1: SustainaBurrell! Join us for a short talk on how we making the Burrell Collection sustainable – travel, connection to the park and looking after our objects.
Event 2: Burrell Collection – Scotland’s Best Building. Join museum manager Juliet Fellows-Smith as she takes you on a tour showing why we won 2024’s Scotland’s Best Building award.

Overview:
A staggering 9,000 objects form The Burrell Collection. Highlights include one of the most significant holdings of Chinese art in the UK, medieval treasures including stained glass, arms and armour and over 200 tapestries which rank amongst the finest in the world, and paintings by renowned French artists including Manet, Cezanne and Degas.
The Burrell Collection is part of Glasgow Life Museums.
