The collaborative digital platform Topoteka was created as a tool for creating online archives of local history and/or themes, encouraging the preservation and research of local history and the promotion of cultural heritage. Thanks to its collaborative and developmental potential – through involvement in various international and national projects, volunteer work, and crowdsourcing – Topoteka has become the largest community platform in Europe, as well as the largest collaborative platform in Croatia.
