CUMEŘCIÀA. LECTURE-VISIT by Silvia Sandrone, director of the departmental museum of wonders
The Alpine territories were traversed between the 19th and 20th centuries by a generalized economic and social dynamism. The commercial infrastructures, the forms of appropriation and management of territorial resources as well as pluriactivity, seasonal mobility and the contribution of the family structure, typical of the Alpine economy, return an image much richer and more complex than the one we usually have. Come and discover the example of the Roya valley, through a conference that will be followed by a guided tour of the temporary exhibition Cumeřciàa. This exhibition retraces the life of former merchants and Royal craftsmen, thanks to unpublished archival documents, hundreds of original ethnographic objects and many anecdotes about life. A true tribute to the mountain life, in all its roughness and vitality. Informations Free and free entry within the limit of available places Duration: 1h | All public Accessibility
