The presentation looks mainly at the people who worked in The Carlow Sugar Industry from the early years when it was formed just after Ireland's hard won Independence, through the turmoil of the mid twentieth century, with all its ups and downs to its eventual closure in 2005. The event is approx one hour. An overview of its eighty year history interspersed with many photographs. Photographs will also be on display on long table.
