Cave of Cravanche
The cave of Cravanche, rehabilitated in 2008 by the City of Belfort, was discovered accidentally(by chance) in March, 1876 by two workers of careers(quarries). Archaeological excavations(searches) led following this discovery date this burial of prehistoric period. Objects and bare remains are exposed(explained) to the Museum of History(Story) of the Citadel of Belfort today. The cave is the site of hibernation of 5 sorts(species) of bats today. The Path(Way) of Time(Weather) allows to include the site of the cave of the Mount, thought of Cravanche, in its aspects at once geological, archaeological, ecological and historic.
