Join us for guided tours of Scotland’s largest purpose-built Gurdwara, a landmark that has transformed Glasgow’s skyline.
Serving as a central gathering place for the Sikh community, the Gurdwara hosts prayer, religious services, and a wide range of community activities.
The guided tours will be on Friday 19th September and Saturday 20th September.
Overview
The foundation brick was laid on April 13 1999 with actual work commencing officially in November 2010. In 2016, the Phase One build of the New Central Gurdwara Singh Sabha Glasgow was completed.
The Scottish Sikh community embarked upon a pioneering journey in completing phase one of the £8.5 million project which proudly sits as Scotland’s largest purpose built Gurdwara, altering Glasgow’s skyline forever.
Full Wheelchair access however access into prayer halls may be limited.
Full vegetarian meal “Langar” will be available.
200 spaces in our underground car park.
Visitors must ensure that they have no Alcohol, Vapes, Tobacco Products or Meat products (packed lunches etc) in their baggage as these are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to search bags for security and refuse entry to the premises. If people have been smoking/vaping/drinking before visiting they will be refused entry.
