As a working building some backstage areas may not be accessible due to pre-show preparations.
If guided tours are full, you can also pop in for a quick look around the front of house areas during our opening hours.

With a rich history dating back to the building’s original opening in 1878, the Citizens Theatre continues to look ahead as one of Scotland’s flagship producing theatres.
There is level access to the building and lift access to all public areas.
